Transforming the Lives of Orphans and the Fatherless

In a small village, Rajendra married Priya, but they faced a challenge – Priya was unable to have children. Years later, Rajendra married again, this time to Suman, who bore him three sons. Eventually, Priya bore two sons of her own. Tragedy struck when Rajendra passed away at just 30 years old, leaving both wives to care for their sons on their own. Overwhelmed and without means to care for their children, the two mothers made the painful decision to send their five sons to our children’s home. The home provided not only food, shelter, education and medical care, but it became a safe haven where the boys received a well-rounded education and essential life skills.

Through the care and support of the children’s home, the boys were able to thrive, and Arjun, the eldest, grew into a young man full of passion. He found purpose by working with a charitable organization, giving back to those in need, just as he had once been helped. The mother, Priya and Suman, also found a place in the home, learning sewing and contributing to the welfare of the other children.

Today, the children’s home stands as a testament to the transformative power of care and Love, offering children a second chance at life, and a future of eternal hope. The children’s home has provided for more than 7,000 children and counting.

Breaking Chains, Building Futures: Helping Widows Thrive

At a young age, Lakshmi was forced into a marriage that was against her will, and soon after, she found herself enduring abuse at the hands of her father-in-law. Fleeing with her two children in search of safety, Lakshmi found refuge in our organization, where she was warmly welcomed. She and her children were given shelter and food. She was offered the opportunity to learn tailoring, a skill that would empower her to provide for her family after the untimely death of her husband.

With this newfound ability, Lakshmi not only survived but thrived, building a life for herself and her children despite the many challenges they faced. For over 35 years, she has been a dedicated caregiver at our children’s home, showing compassion and kindness to children in need. Though her story is marked by hardship, it is also one of resilience and service – transforming her pain into a powerful source of support for others. Her journey is a reminder that, through eternal hope, lives can be changed. Our organization has helped thousands of widows just like Lakshmi.

Hope for Meera: Providing Food & Care

Meera, a poor elderly widow from a small village, endured unimaginable loss when both of her sons, who had been her primary caregivers, passed away. The first son died tragically in an auto accident, and the second son, who had been looking after her as well, succumbed to a heart attack soon after. Left with no family to rely on, Meera found herself struggling with overwhelming grief and a deep sense of helplessness.

Despite having completed her education through high school, Meera was unable to secure employment due to the lack of a college degree. Her life became a daily battle with poverty, undernourishment, and constant leg infections caused by circulation problems. The physical pain was unbearable, but the emotional toll of losing both her sons was far more devastating. It seemed that survival in such dire circumstances was nearly impossible. However, through our organization, Meera is receiving essential support. Each month, she is given food and medication, which helps her manage her health and the burden of her daily struggles. She is from a country where poor widows face immense social and financial challenges. We continue to feed tens of thousands of poor people each year, just like Meera.

The Necessary Treatments for Ramesh

Ramesh was a hard-working man with extraordinary skill and endless energy. One tragic day, he fell from a very high building. The accident left him with severe spinal cord injuries, leaving his legs paralyzed. His body was no longer able to function as it once did, and without blood circulation to his limbs, Ramesh’s condition worsened. His family, already struggling with their own challenges, found themselves powerless to provide the care Ramesh desperately needed. They could not afford the necessary medical treatment to restore even a small level of functionality, and Ramesh was left entirely dependent on others. Every day, he needed to be carried from place to place, and the constant use of a catheter led to frequent infections, only adding to his suffering.

Our healthcare branch was introduced to Ramesh and his family. Medical teams began visiting regularly, tending to his wounds, ensuring proper care, and providing the necessary treatments to prevent infections. Through the support of these selfless volunteers, Ramesh was gifted with an electric wheelchair, a lifechanging tool that now allows him greater mobility. Thanks to the ongoing compassion and help of medical teams, he is no longer totally bound by the helplessness he once felt. His story is just one among tens of thousands that have received eternal hope through our organization.

Bringing Life-Sustaining Water to Kuppi’s Village

In a small and desert-like village, Kuppi, is the respected leader, who watches his community struggle daily with a desperate need for water. The villagers are forced to travel miles to neighboring villages to collect water from a distant bore well, an exhausting and perilous journey, especially for the elderly and children. The trek takes hours, leaving them physically drained and vulnerable to illness. The lack of water affects every part of their lives – from their health to their livelihoods. The villagers are in an endless cycle of hardship, with no relief in sight. Each day, men, women, and children set out early in the morning to make the long journey, under the hot sun. The water collected is often insufficient.

But there is hope. Kuppi has made a passionate plea for help, as the community desperately needs a bore well to provide fresh, clean water within their vicinity. Without it, the villagers will continue to suffer. With your support, this village can finally have the life-changing resource they need to survive and thrive. The gift of water can transform their lives, ending the struggle and providing hope for a better tomorrow. Please help us bring clean water to them so that they can experience eternal hope.

They are eager for an education, yet their learning is hindered by the elements. Despite these challenges, their thirst for knowledge burns brightly. Arvind has worked tirelessly to create this space for his village, but it is only a temporary shelter. They need a permanent school that will give them the foundation they need to build a future with opportunity.

With your help, we can turn this dream into a reality. The plans for a permanent classroom and a common area are ready, but the funds are still needed to complete the structure.
